If you do not attract web spiders to your website, it simply would not get crawled and ultimately the keywords you aim for would not be ranked accordingly.

To rank well for your keywords in the search engines, you also have to take note of your website design and programming. You must allow your content to be navigable and easily crawled by the search engine spiders in order to gain a superior search engine optimized website design.

If your website has dynamic URLs, the web spiders are not able to come crawling. A dynamic URL has any one of these characters in them: ? & % + = $ cgi-bin .cgi

Try to avoid them as much as possible and consider generating static pages on static URLs instead. If your website must have a dynamic URL, make an effort to direct the non-dynamic URLs to the dynamic URLs when you submit them to the major search engines.

#Tip 2

Avoid using frames for your website as websites with frames are usually not indexed by the search engine spiders. You can redesign your website using minimal HTML if you want to rank high in the search engines.

#Tip 3

Do you use flash on your website? Well, you will have difficulty ranking in the search engines if you do not use them correctly.

If your website is created virtually all flash especially if you design a splash page, put in as much keyword-optimized content you are able to and place a title on your page and Meta tags in your source code.

This is one of the major SEO mistakes of all splash pages using flash.
